I love walking and Spring is the best time of year. I layer up to cope with our changeable weather, starting out in my zip up fleece, scarf and gloves. By mid morning I can stuff them in my rucksack and am down to a fine knit V neck sweater layered over a cotton tee. If I am lucky the sweater comes off and I may even have to get the sunscreen on. I have just bought a pair of cotton cargo trousers but haven't been brave enough to roll them up yet! Plus legs are a bit pale! Best place to walk - for me it is the South Downs, the UK's newest National Park. Good for sea views, country views, short grass, not too much mud, skylarks, lambs and primroses - to name a few!
